President-elect Trump is creating a big storm in the cryptocurrency market by issuing a memecoin Trump(TRUMP) under his name.

On Jan. 18, Trump announced that he had issued a memecoin Trump under his name on his SNS account to commemorate his victory.

Suspicions spread in some communities that the Trump token's posting was due to hacking. However, a number of foreign media outlets reported from sources that Trump issued the Trump token as part of Trump's NFT project.

With its explosive popularity less than a day after its publication, the memecoin Trump gained about 204.94%, with a market capitalization of about $4.18 billion as of 10 p.m. on Jan. 18. Currently, the Trump token has reached the 33th place in the cryptocurrency market capitalization.

Currently, the popularity of Trump token is being confirmed in real time through purchase authentication posts through SNS. Cointelegraph, a media outlet specializing in cryptocurrency, reported that "Trump tokens are creating a craze in the cryptocurrency market, giving investors millions of dollars in profits."

According to the announcement, the total supply of Trump tokens totaled 1 billion, with 200 million tokens currently released. The remaining supplies will be released gradually over the next three years.
