1. U.S. Ethereum spot ETF hits all-time high for net outflows
Ethereum(ETH) spot Exchange Traded Fund(ETF) in the U.S. reached an all-time high on Sept. 24, recording a net outflow of about $79.21 million. According to a report by the financial data platform Sosovalue, Grayscale 'ETHE' recorded a total net outflow of $80.55 million on Sept. 24, leading the net outflow of Ethereum spot ETFs in the U.S. on Sept. 24.
2. U.S. Rep. Joins Public Opinion Criticizing SEC Chairman At Hearings
U.S. House members criticized Gensler at the U.S. House Financial Services Committee on Sept. 24, pointing out the cryptocurrency regulation behavior of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler. U.S. House members at the House Financial Services Committee hearing pointed out that Gensler is regulating the cryptocurrency market with a stance that is not fair and objective under the influence of certain forces.
3. Caroline Ellison Sentenced to Two-Year Jail, Fines $11 Billion
Caroline Ellison, the former Alameda Research CEO known as the lover of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried(SBF), was sentenced to two years in prison and fined $11 billion on Sept. 24 for a number of criminal charges, including fraud. A federal court in Manhattan in the U.S. sentenced Ellison to a sentence for extorting and operating FTX customers' funds for fraud, taking into account Ellison's attitude of remorse.
4. Gold hits all-time high after U.S. Fed announces rate cut
With Bitcoin (BTC) rising about 7% as the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) announced a rate cut, gold prices hit $2,648 an ounce on Sept. 24, the highest price ever.
