Fortune magazine reported in a source's testimony on May. 19 that Ripple and Coinbase are seeking to acquire USDC issuer Circle. Fortune magazine explained last month that Ripple sought to acquire Circle through an acquisition of about $4 billion to $5 billion, but the transaction fell through as Circle demanded more than $5 billion in acquisitions. According to reports, Circle prefers to be acquired by Coinbase, which already holds its stake. If Circle is acquired, the initial public offering(IPO), which Circle applied for in April, is likely to fall through.

Dimon CEO has been criticizing Bitcoin for years, comparing it to 'ponzi fraud,''fraud', and 'drug'.
3. Ripple Introduces International Remittance System to Two Major Banks in UAE
Ripple has introduced Ripple's international payment system at major banks in the United Arab Emirates(UAE) 'Zand Bank' and 'Mamo'. Ripple explained in an official statement on May. 19 that it will provide Ripple Payment, the UAE's first digital bank, and Ripple's international payment system 'Ripple Payment', and use XRPL-based stablecoins, cryptocurrencies and legal currency integrated payment systems for international remittances by the banks.
4. Chainlink Connects Solana With Blockchain Connection Protocol CCIP
Chainlink announced on May. 19 that it has implemented the v1.6 upgrade and connected the blockchain connection protocol 'Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol(CCIP) to Solana. Due to the connection of CCIP, Chainlink can provide a secure blockchain connection between Solana, Ethereum, Binance Chain, and Avitrum networks.
